Job Summary The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, the nation's leading gun violence prevention organization, has an exciting opening for a Manager of Events. Joining a well-established development team, this individual will manage and execute two major events (with consultant support as needed) and several small house party-style events supporting ambitious revenue goals as a key partner of the development team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, strategic thinker who effectively sets priorities and solves problems while building and maintaining productive relationships. This candidate also has experience planning and executing both small and large events to budget. Duties and Responsibilities Events Leadership & Strategy Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of a portfolio of branded, mission-focused events that deepen engagement with donors, volunteers and prospects. Proactively identify opportunities to evolve and improve the event strategy using data, trends and organizational priorities. Anticipate needs, risks, and opportunities-developing solutions before challenges arise-and proactively communicate updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and key partners. Serve as a central point of accountability, driving alignment and execution acr
