ROLE DESCRIPTION This is a full-time, on-site role in Brooklyn for a Manager, Field People Operations. This leader will run day-to-day execution across recruiting, onboarding, compliance follow-through, employee relations intake, operational reporting, and field-side people operations support. The role partners closely with field teams, operational leaders, and key stakeholders to strengthen process discipline, improve caregiver experience, and ensure consistency in a regulated home care environment. This is not a policy-heavy desk role or an extra layer in the org chart. It is an operator seat with real accountability for candidate flow, Day 1 readiness, documentation quality, issue escalation, compliance follow-through, and field trust. WHAT YOU WILL OWN Recruiting operations across caregiver and field roles, including posting, screening, sourcing, and candidate follow-through Onboarding execution from offer acceptance through Day 1 readiness Compliance documentation, tracking, audit readiness, and operational follow-up tied to regulated workforce requirements Coordination with offshore recruiting and onboarding partners to keep work aligned and moving Frontline employee relations intake, documentation, and routing based on established escalation paths Weekly operational reporting on hiring activity, onboarding progress, compliance completion, and open issues Fair, consistent, people-centered process across the caregiver and employee lifecycle WHAT YOU NEED 5+ years in home care, healthcare, or an LHCSA setting Direct experience with HHA/PCA workforces, caregiver onboarding, field operations, and compliance-heavy workflows 3+ years in People Operations, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, or related execution work Experience leading, coordinating, or supervising a team Strong employee relations judgment, documentation discipline, and escalation instincts Experience with high-volume recruiting in a field-based or service environment Comfort with compliance tracking, operational reporting, and regulated onboarding Fluency in people systems such as UKG, HHA Exchange, or similar platforms Direct, clear communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred Ability to work full-time on-site in Brooklyn and support field operations across service regions We care about judgment, coachability, pace, and trust-building more than polished titles NICE TO HAVE 1199SEIU or healthcare union experience Employee relations intake or investigation coordination experience Indeed and LinkedIn recruiting optimization for healthcare or home care roles NYC/NYS employment law familiarity, including pay transparency, fair chance hiring, local compliance expectations, and healthcare employment basics Offshore team coordination experience OFFICE & SCHEDULE Full-time Brooklyn office 100% on-site 40 hours per week Flexible 40 model: we value outcomes over a rigid punch clock, but this role requires real in-room presence as we stabilize process quality and execution INTERVIEW PROCESS Initial screen, core interview, and final conversation.
