About This Role The Manager, Field Medical Operations, serves as the operational backbone for the North America Field Medical organization. This role sits at the intersection of Field Medical, Medical Excellence, IT/CRM, and Analytics, ensuring seamless operational execution, scalable processes, and timely issue resolution. This individual will lead the intake, prioritization, and resolution of Field Medical systems and operational issues, while driving continuous improvement, compliance, and operational readiness to meet current and future business needs. The role requires a proactive, self-starting professional who can partner effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the Field Medical operational and systems issue intake, triage, prioritization, execution, and close-out processes. Serve as the central point of accountability for Field Medical Operations and Systems-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Identify trends, root causes, and potential compliance risks to inform long-term operational solutions. Design, optimize, and standardize operational workflows, SOPs, playbooks, and governance models. Maintain audit-ready documentation to support consistent and compliant field execution. Contribute to the development of the Field Medical Operations roadmap and governance frameworks. Lead and facilitate cross-functional working groups in collaboration with Medical Excellence, IT/CRM, and other stakeholders. Partner with IT/CRM teams to translate business and operational requirements into user stories, test cases, and UAT scenarios. Collaborate with Analytics teams to interpret operational trends and ensure data quality for reporting and insights. Develop and deliver training materials, job aids, and change management initiatives to drive system and process adoption. Support operational readiness for therapeutic area launches and the deployment of new field capabilities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or Commercial Operations within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated experience in issue and backlog management, UAT/validation execution, and change or release communications. Strong working knowledge of Field Medical technologies, including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Align, and related platforms. Proven ability to design and own operational workflows, including intake and prioritization models. Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, playbooks, and operational documentation. Strong stakeholder management skills across Medical Operations, Medical Excellence, Compliance, and IT/CRM. Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience serving as a business process owner or subject matter expert for Field Medical systems. Experience supporting Field Medical operational readiness during therapeutic area launches. Familiarity with external engagements, contracting workflows, medical insights, medical inquiries, and CRM-enabled field processes. Working knowledge of compliance requirements and documentation standards for Field Medical activities. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Agile or Lean. Job Level: Management Additional Information The base compensation range for this role is: $118,000.00-$158,000.00 Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
