Manager - Nutrition Service Elementary The job of Manager - NS Elementary is done for the purpose of supervising food services activities at assigned sites, organizing food preparation activities, assisting employees with food preparation and service; confirming quantities and quality of food items are available for use, providing written reports and complying with mandated health requirements. Essential Functions Estimates food preparation amounts and adjusts recipes. Inspects food and/or supply deliveries. Inventories food, condiments, supplies and equipment. Orders food, equipment and supplies. Oversees the preparation, cooking, serving and transportation of food and beverage items. Performs functions of other positions within area of responsibility. Prepares reports and documents. Processes receipts. Responds to inquiries of students, staff and the public. Orients new employees to work center and school site processes. Trains and manages assigned employees. Monitors food service facilities. Other Functions: Assists other personnel as may be required. Certifications/Clearances: Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed.
