Job Description
Manager, Software Engineering Middleware - Kafka and MQ This is managing over Kafka and MQ The ideal candidate will come up through either Kafka or MQ or both and then got into leadership or is a manager and wants to manage And strategize If they have a combination of Kafka and MQ they will come out of a financial company 9 out of 10 times There are 6 people in the group, 3 do Kafka and 3 do MQ It is 60% cloud, 40% on prem There are 10 products in the group They also need to know Jira and scrum master It s a combination of engineering and production support, so they will be 24/7 production support Must have excellent communication skills LOCATION: CHICAGO, IL HYBRID 3 DAYS ONSITE MQ Middleware implementation and ongoing support. You will manage a team to install configure and maintain third party components. Drive the implementation and ongoing support of Middleware messaging team technologies in production and non-production environments. [Required] Encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, PKI Infrastructure management) [Required] Security controls as applied to software technologies.
