OUC - The Reliable One , is presently seeking a Manager, Power Plant Operations to join the Electric & Water Production division. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in power generation operations/maintenance. Total experience to include three (3) years of formal leadership experience (required); in lieu of formal leadership, experience managing project teams, budgets, coaching and mentoring team members, leadership training may be substitutable. Salary Range: $144,900.00 - $217,350.00 annually - commensurate with experience The salary range listed reflects the full pay grade (minimum to maximum) for this role. In alignment with OUC’s compensation practices, starting salaries typically fall within the first half of the range (minimum to midpoint). Job Purpose: Manage OUC’s Stanton Energy Center (SEC) EWP Operations unit. Ensure safe and reliable plant operations at the generation facilities while supporting environmental compliance and economical generation. Develop and maintain O&M (operation and maintenance) budget and capital budget. Primary Functions: Ensure coal-fired generating units meet generation and environmental compliance while ensuring SEC Operations policies and guidelines are being followed; Manage OUC’s EWP Operations unit for SEC’s Fossil Fuel Units 1 and 2; Develop and maintain O&M budget and capital budget for Operations, generate and analyze billing statements, budget reports and spreadsheets when necessary; Oversee and support SEC’s Emergency Response Team (ERT); provide expertise regarding plant safety guidelines and requirements; Monitor the availability of plant operating equipment and assist with coordinating equipment schedules; Provide management with accurate update reports regarding plant process and system issues, improvements, root cause analysis, recommended solutions, preventative maintenance operational changes, etc.; Manage SEC Operations personnel: schedule and monitor daily activity for staff, maintain time sheets, coordinate planned and un-planned outages, create and implement employee development programs, comple
