Manager, Product Management – Costing & Inventory Insure Technology is leading a search on behalf of a large, complex enterprise organization undergoing a meaningful shift from a project-based model to a true product and value-driven environment. This is a high-impact leadership role within the Costing domain, where the work directly influences financial accuracy, operational performance, and business decision-making at scale. Location: Atlanta, GA (5 days onsite) Type: Direct Hire The Manager of Product Management sits at the center of critical financial and operational systems, owning product strategy and execution across: Product costing Inventory movements Inventory valuation You’ll lead a team responsible for ensuring these capabilities are stable, accurate, and continuously improving while driving measurable business value through thoughtful prioritization and execution. This is not a roadmap theater role. It requires strong product judgment, operational rigor, and the ability to make clear trade-offs grounded in customer value and business impact. What You’ll Do Lead and develop a team of product managers in a high-accountability environment Own and prioritize the product backlog across enhancements, performance improvements, and initiative-driven work Ensure production systems are functioning accurately and reliably Identify and resolve performance issues and gaps in existing functionality Partner closely with finance, accounting, engineering, and business stakeholders Build business cases to support product investments and recommendations Drive a metrics-based approach to prioritization (OKRs, value delivery, measurable outcomes) Navigate a highly matrixed organization and align diverse stakeholders Top Priorities (First 6 Months) Stabilize and take full ownership of product costing and inventory valuation functionality Ensure production systems are accurate, reliable, and well understood across stakeholders Deliver meaningful backlog enhancements tied to business initiatives and operational needs What We’re Looking For Strong foundation in product management (customer value, prioritization, trade-offs) Experience leading and developing product teams Proven ability to build and communicate business cases tied to measurable impact Finance/accounting domain knowledge is required Experience with product costing and/or inventory valuation strongly preferred Comfortable operating in complex, enterprise environments Able to influence without authority and work across a matrixed organization Highly adaptable, collaborative, and accountable What Sets This Role Apart Direct impact on financial integrity and operational performance A true product transformation environment, not just incremental change High visibility across business and technology leadership Opportunity to shape how value is defined, measured, and delivered Important Notes This is a highly accountable environment with a strong focus on outcomes over activity We are specifically seeking product leaders, not project or program managers operating in a product title Candidates must be comfortable working onsite 5 days/week in Atlanta About Insure Technology Insure Technology is a consultative recruiting firm focused on delivering high-impact technology and business talent.
