This role plays a central part in guiding subcontract strategy across the full program lifecycle, from pursuit and proposal development through execution and sustainment. It exists to ensure that third-party products and services are sourced, negotiated, and delivered in alignment with program objectives, customer requirements, and government regulations. The position works closely with program leadership and supply chain partners to manage complex subcontract content for high-value, high-visibility programs. In this role, you will lead subcontract planning, negotiations, and performance management while serving as a key business partner to internal stakeholders. You will oversee major subcontract activities, manage cost and schedule performance, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and senior program leaders. The work includes guiding subcontract administrators and buyers, preparing contractual documents, resolving supply issues such as obsolescence, and representing the company in discussions related to compliance and requirements.
