Reporting to the Director-Technical Accounting and External Reporting, this role will work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and high‑quality documentation while gaining exposure to complex accounting areas and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in researching and analyzing technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and documenting conclusions in accounting memos. Significant involvement in the preparation of external financial reporting, including footnotes and disclosures for quarterly and annual reports. Monitor new accounting standards and assist with adoption and implementation efforts. Coordinate with external auditors to support quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of audit support. Help maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, close activities, and internal controls. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on accounting‑related matters. Support special projects such as transactions, system enhancements, or reporting optimization initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred. 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting (Big 4 audit or advisory) and industry experience; candidates with only Big 4 experience will be considered. Public company experience a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and interest in technical accounting and external reporting. Experience supporting audits and preparing technical accounting memos. Workiva experience is a strong plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP for ERP and/or OneStream for consolidation a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
