Summary Cygnus Compliance is seeking a senior executive to lead enterprise revenue growth across the financial crime, AML, sanctions, fraud, and regulatory compliance space. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for an industry veteran ready to drive immediate results; not build from scratch, but accelerate from a position of strength. About the role As Managing Director – Client Development, you will own the firm's revenue origination strategy, lead complex enterprise sales cycles, and serve as a senior executive representative to C-suite clients. You will drive adoption of both Cygnus consulting services and our AI-powered SaaS compliance platform, Open Compliance Solutions (OCS), across banks, broker-dealers, fintechs, and insurance institutions. What you'll own Full revenue origination strategy aligned with company growth objectives End-to-end enterprise sales lifecycle — from pipeline origination to contract close C-suite relationships with CCOs, CROs, and Chief AML Officers at top financial institutions Positioning and adoption of consulting services and AI-driven SaaS (OCS) Large-scale, multi-year consulting and technology deal structuring and negotiation Pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and revenue delivery Thought leadership at industry forums, conferences, and regulatory engagements Strategic input into product innovation, go-to-market planning, and firm growth Mentorship of senior business development professionals Required qualifications 15+ years in financial services, financial crime, regulatory compliance, risk, or advisory Deep expertise in AML, sanctions, fraud, transaction monitoring, and compliance frameworks Hands-on experience with platforms such as NICE Actimize, Oracle Mantas, FircoSoft, FIS/PRIME, or FCRM Proven track record selling AI-driven SaaS compliance solutions into financial institutions Established executive network of C-suite decision-makers you can activate immediately Demonstrated success closing high-value, complex, multi-year engagements Exceptional executive presence, communication, and strategic thinking skills Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% Why Cygnus Compliance Lead industry transformation — drive the shift from legacy compliance systems to modern, AI-powered platforms Executive-level impact — shape firm strategy, growth trajectory, and market expansion directly Ownership mindset culture — operate with autonomy in a leadership team focused on long-term value creation Innovative technology — deliver cutting-edge AI-powered compliance solutions built for global financial institutions Pay: From $150,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Jersey City, NJ 07097
