Managing Director – AI Infrastructure & Product I’m working with a global, expert-led business that has grown into a $1B+ organisation in just over a decade, with 1,600+ professionals across 45+ offices worldwide. The company operates in complex, high-stakes environments, working with large volumes of data and problems where judgment and expertise really matter. It’s now entering its next phase, with AI seen as a core part of how the business evolves. They’re looking for a senior leader to define and build a foundational intelligence layer across the organisation. This is a greenfield build with real backing and scope to shape both the system and the team around it. At the centre is a shared intelligence layer that runs horizontally across the business. Less a traditional platform, more an operating layer, bringing together data, models, and workflows to support how work actually gets done. Over time, this becomes the foundation for how expertise is applied, scaled, and potentially productised. The role will involve: Defining the technical strategy across AI infrastructure and data Designing and scaling a secure, enterprise-grade environment Building capabilities across data, models, and tooling Driving adoption across the organisation Establishing governance and model lifecycle standards Building and leading a multidisciplinary team This is a senior leadership role focused on setting direction, making trade-offs, and owning outcomes. The right person will: Have built or scaled AI/data platforms in complex environments Bring strong experience across modern data architecture and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Have led high-performing, cross-functional teams Have taken AI into real-world use Be comfortable operating across strategy and execution If you’ve built systems from the ground up that sit at the core of how a business operates, I’d be interested to speak.
