Managing Director, IT Staffing - New York City/Hybrid Hybrid Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays Our client is a high-performance staffing firm founded in 2016 that meaningfully accelerated growth in 2022–2023 and has delivered double-digit growth since 2021. They are strengthening their IT market leadership in New York, and need a proven rainmaker who can drive market growth, build a team, and lead by example. What You’ll Do You’ll own the IT business for the market—revenue, relationships, delivery partnership, and team outcomes. Own the market P&L and build a durable book of business across IT contract staffing and direct-hire search. Drive new client acquisition (hunter motion): target accounts, open doors, and win searches/staffing engagements with direct hiring managers. Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting; discovery; solution design; terms/fee alignment; close; launch; grow. Develop a repeatable market plan and consistent pipeline (territory/geography focus is core to their model). Partner tightly with recruiting (no offshore delivery; recruiting is internal) to ensure speed-to-launch, strong calibration, and high-quality submissions. Expand within existing accounts by increasing hiring-manager footprint and deepening trusted-advisor relationships. Maintain strong operating cadence: activity discipline, accurate ATS/CRM documentation, forecasting, and accountability to goals. What You Need Proven agency staffing sales and leadership in IT (player/coach), with a track record of winning new accounts and growing them. Credible, consultative client presence able to be both warm and firm, and to lead senior conversations. High urgency and resilience; you don’t need perfect conditions to create results. Operational rigor (pipeline management, forecasting, documentation). Team-first mindset with the ability to influence outcomes through partnership with recruiting/delivery. Job Number 7819
