The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual mills, lathes, and boring mills, and the ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Operate manual lathes, mills, and boring mills Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Set up machines and select appropriate tooling Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines Qualifications Minimum 3 years of manual machining experience preferred Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools Able to hold close tolerances (+/- .001”) Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, and machining best practices Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic
