This position reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager __ Your Role And Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance. The work model for the role is: - Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division in Selmer, TN. You will be mainly accountable to: Escalating to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helping facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensuring the continuous improvement approach and strategy deployed at local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy. Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership. Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level. Qualifications For The Role Engineering degree(mechanical, industrial or related degree) required 2 years of experience in manufacturing, leading large projects and purchasing new equipment. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Tools, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis is preferred. Experience with project management and proven history of driving and sustaining change Possess knowledge of SAP and MS Office package. Power Bi & Power Apps is an added advantage Travel required - 10-20% (Domestic and International) Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
