The Opportunity The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading and improving both manufacturing engineering processes and the company’s quality management system. This position drives operational excellence by optimizing production workflows, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards (including accreditation systems such as IAS AC-472. This role serves as the key liaison between Engineering, Production, and Quality functions to ensure product integrity, efficiency, safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction. The position combines hands-on engineering expertise with quality system leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities: Manufacturing Engineering & Process Improvement Review upcoming production and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and reports. Analyze manufacturing processes and implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness. Lead continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN principles preferred). Design and develop manufacturing aids, jigs, fixtures, and process improvements. Coordinate engineering changes and ensure clear communication to production teams. Conduct production performance analysis (
