Job Description
Required Skills: MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electro-mechanical or defense/aerospace systems Strong understanding of NPI processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, PCBA schematics, and BOMs Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (e.g., PDM, Autodesk Vault, SW Composer) Strong understanding of electro-mechanical assembly processes Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers Experience with various manufacturing processes like CNC, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, 3D printing and Composites Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems. Nice to Have: Knowledge of IPC standards and industry best practices for electronics manufacturing Hands-on experience with assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
