Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a cutting-edge robotics and hardware technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing/Operations team supporting cross-functional Engineering and Production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, and a hands-on approach to process improvement, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Austin, TX (On-Site Only) Pay Range: $40-45/hr Duration: 6-month contract with high likelihood of conversion to FTE What's the Job? Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and throughput targets Lead DFM/DFA initiatives and conduct risk assessments (PFMEA) during product development Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and production equipment for assembly processes Support NPI builds, troubleshoot pilot runs, and drive production readiness Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, or NPI environments Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX for design and assembly review Strong analytical skills with experience in SPC, DOE, and root cause methodologies (8D, 5-Whys) Hands-on experience working with complex hardware systems and cross-functional teams What's in it for me?
