Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities Primary focus will be to review all quotations for accuracy before submitting them to the Sales Team. Support the Quoting Team in recommending alternative components. Evaluating quoted material cost increases vs. the existing system cost to determine the root cause. Estimate labor for new Quotations and evaluate labor for requotes. Review all customer documentation during the quoting process to identify requirements and tooling. Work with the Documentation Team to implement New Production Introduction (NPI) Monitor NPI builds to validate that the quotation labor estimates are accurate. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to provide Design for Manufacturing reports for all NPI builds. Monitor sales margins, work order labor, and material costs to escalate margin erosion to senior management. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to support Continuous Improvement projects. Required Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) Relevant work experience is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; Internet Explorer and imaging/document creation software, such as Adobe Acrobat, Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks.
