Advance your education and career with our tuition assistance program Summary The Fabrication Mechanic is responsible for coordinating and performing the layout, setup, and operation of fabrication equipment to manufacture high-quality metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, design specifications, and production schedules. This role ensures all fabrication activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting or exceeding customer and company quality standards. The Fabrication Mechanic interprets blueprints, determines appropriate fabrication methods, and prepares machines and materials required for production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and modify metal components and parts according to blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications. Set up, operate, and safely use fabrication and machining equipment to produce high-quality parts within required tolerances.
