Company OverviewBio Corporation specializes in preserved specimens for educational use.Our commitment is to provide high-quality, accurately prepared specimens that support learning and research across various scientific disciplines.Duties Prepare biological specimens through meticulous collection, processing, and preservation techniques to ensure high-quality educational materials.Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures to prevent contamination and ensure specimen integrity.Manage laboratory workflows, including inventory control of supplies and proper documentation of specimen preparation processes.Assist in the development and refinement of specimen preparation protocols, incorporating best practices in physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology.Support quality assurance efforts by monitoring specimen quality and troubleshooting any issues related to preservation or handling.Collaborate with team members to optimize laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with safety regulations.Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment, following all safety protocols including basic life support procedures when necessary.Helpful Proven experience in laboratory management or a research laboratory environment with familiarity in specimen preparation.Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques such as venipuncture, spinal tap procedures, and catheterization.Experience with clinical or hospital laboratories, including phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing.Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and veterinary terminology relevant to specimen handling.Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures essential for maintaining specimen integrity.Basic life support certification is preferred; ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.Prior experience working in pediatric or veterinary settings is advantageous but not required.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to follow detailed protocols accurately.Join our team as a Production Technician - Specimen Prep and contribute to the creation of precise educational specimens that advance scientific understanding worldwide!
