Title: Machine Specialist/Adjuster with Winchester Location: Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, MO Salary: Machine Specialist starts at $23.28/hour and will increase to $29.25/hour after successful completion of 120-day probationary period. Machine Adjuster starts at $21.26/hour and will increase to $28.33/hour after successful completion of 120-day probationary period. Focus: The Machine Specialist/Adjuster is responsible for performing mechanical adjustments and/or repairs to high-speed automated production equipment Machine Specialist/Adjuster Essential Job Functions: Sets up and operates machines, performs mechanical adjustments and repairs production equipment. Visual inspections of parts and components, including finished product while using a variety of gages, to ensure manufacturing specifications are achieved. Removes, installs and adjust punches, dies, eject stems, bolts, etc., using various hand tools for proper alignment. Pushes hand trucks and fill hoppers to keep machines supplied with materials. Machine Adjuster Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Basic working knowledge of mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
