Location: Port St. Lucie, FL United States Position Type: Full-time Website: https://www.oculussurgical.com/ Job Purpose The MANUFACTURING MATERIAL TECHNICIAN will support medical device manufacturing by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, issued, and transacted in compliance with OCULUS Surgical Quality System requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining material availability, traceability, and inventory accuracy in a regulated manufacturing environment. Duties Include: Operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks to move materials safely within the manufacturing facility Receiving, stocking, labeling, and issuing raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Maintaining organized, compliant stockroom and warehouse areas in alignment with 5S Principles Performing routine inspection and basic care of material handling equipment Executing ERP transactions to: Receive materials Update material locations Adjust inventory quantities Support cycle count activities Pulling materials per Bill of Materials (BOM) and preparing production kits for manufacturing lines and cells Verifying correct part numbers, revisions, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure material traceability Identifying, segregating, and processing scrap materials in accordance with established procedures Completing required scrap documentation and ERP transactions accurately and on time Utilizing Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) for communications, basic data entry, and documentation Following all applicable Quality System procedures , including ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements Supporting internal and external audits as needed Experience and Skills High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or stockroom operations Experience operating pallet jacks (manual or electric) Working knowledge of ERP or Inventory Management Systems Experience with material handling, kitting, and BOM-based part pulling Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures Nice to Have Experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, or GMP requirements Experience using abas, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems Experience working in ESD controlled or clean manufacturing environments Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Vanguard 401(k) with company match up to 4% Disability insurance Paid time off Paid Company Holidays (9) Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
