Job Description
Responsibilities:Initiating purchase orders, buying merchandise, and managing inventory Expedite high priority purchase orders Generating reports and following up with suppliers regarding delivery issues Performs Inventory Cycle Counts Working with vendors, catalogs, online sites to obtain and compare prices and specifications Working with accounting in research of vendor invoice issues such as price discrepancies, shortages, and returns Prepare reports and statistics using computer software Qualifications / Required Skills:Previous experience in purchasing preferred Experience in office support position Experience with ERP/MRP would be a plus Good computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook Strong analytic abilities; critical thinking skills Basic Math Skills:Addition, Subtraction, Multiplying, Dividing, Counting, Measuring Hours are:Monday through Friday - 7am to 3:30pm The pay is up to $24.00 an hour based on experience Benefits:Health insurance- 3 levels of health plans to choose from with flexible spending account and health savings plan available - company contributes $500.00 to the HSA Dental insurance - two dentals plans to choose from with up to $2,000 annual benefits Vision insurance 401K with 4% match Life and disability insurance Optional life insurance for employee, spouse, children 40 hours sick time Paid holidays Vacation time Company paid life insurance equal to annual base salary Company paid long term disability Pay:Up to $24.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
