About the Role As a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between our engineering, sales, and production departments to ensure seamless project execution. You will drive operational efficiency by managing technical documentation and delivering precise cost analysis, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in industrial operations and manufacturing support. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end quoting process by generating precise cost estimates and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Ensure manufacturing readiness by creating and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs), production routings, and detailed work orders. Drive data accuracy by inputting and auditing critical part information within ERP/MRP software systems. Oversee the successful launch of new components by coordinating setup activities and supporting quality documentation like APQP and PPAP. Analyze production metrics to uncover cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements to existing manufacturing workflows. Act as a technical resource for the shop floor by assisting with engineering change requests and feasibility evaluations. Foster cross-departmental synergy by aligning sales estimates with real-world manufacturing capabilities and material availability. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel for data management. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to support production needs. Strong mathematical aptitude, specifically regarding ratios, percentages, and cost calculations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration. Preferred Skills Associate degree in a field related to engineering or manufacturing technology. 1-3 years of professional experience in an engineering support, estimating, or manufacturing role. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and industrial documentation standards. Experience in a customer-facing role requiring high attention to detail.
