Job Description
Title: Manuf. Technician III Intake Notes pay rate to commensurate with experience Duration – 6 to 9 months Location – Gynesonics, Redwood City California. Work Hours – 6am to 230pm An associate degree is must, and manufacturing experience is a plus. Job Description This position, reporting to a Manufacturing Manager, is responsible for refurbishing and manufacturing of Gynesonics reusable devices, and assembling subassemblies for integration with the reusable devices. The job responsibility includes hands-on building subassemblies, refurbishing and testing reusable devices. In addition, the job responsibility may include assisting activity such physical inventory, final packaging of devices, building prototypes, bonding subassemblies, assemblies / final products, documentation preparation for production builds, etc. Primary Responsibilities: Manufacturing / Production Support- As part of the production team, the primary responsibility of a Manuf. Technician III is to build, refurbish, test and support production / manufacturing activity related to probe manufacturing, final testing, packaging and completing final documentation. Prepare labeling and production documentation, such as MPI’s, LHR’s, FRM’s, etc, for new builds and refurbishing devices in accordance with Quality System requirements. In addition, the responsibility includes performing computer data entry to open and close work orders in Oracle, inspecting components and devices, maintaining production line inventory, assisting manufacturing processes and line where is required, and performing year end physical inventory. Testing- Perform testing, perform troubleshooting on production devices, or equipment in accordance with Engineering and Quality System requirements. May be required to keep a lab notebook to document processes and changes.. Manufacturability- May participate in design requirements for new products and product enhancements to facilitate transfer of products to manufacturing in a timely and reasonable fashion. May work directly with manufacturing staff to transfer product. Other Duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience : AA degree or equivalent experience in technical discipline. 3-5 years in medical device or similar product design and/or manufacturing. 0-3 years as Technician in Medical Device Company. Must be able to document activities clearly in lab notebooks. Previous experience in data collection from experiments preferred but not required. Ability to use computer software such Excel, Word, email, etc Ability to use ERP software such Oracle to open and close work orders, and to prepare manufacturing documentation for builds. Oracle experience is not required but it would be a plus. Ability to use Oracle Agile to update, modify or change production documents as required. Oracle experience is not required but it would be a plus. Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) required. Ability to work independently or in team setting environment. Required Medical Device Experience - General Medical Devices Required ESD Experience: 1 General Knowledge
