OVERVIEW We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Market Director to lead growth across corporate, education, and healthcare markets. As a Steelcase dealer delivering furniture solutions, this role is responsible for driving market strategy, revenue performance, and key client partnerships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Market Strategy & Business Growth – Define and execute market growth strategies aligned with Circadia’s integrated solutions approach, manage pipeline development, revenue performance, and forecasting accuracy, identify market opportunities and position Circadia as a differentiated, full-service partner, stay informed on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning. Executive Client & Partner Leadership – Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, A&D firms, commercial real estate partners, and industry influencers, position Circadia as a strategic partner by aligning solutions to client business goal, lead high-level engagements, presentations, and strategic conversations, serve as the senior relationship owner across complex, multi-scope projects, manage existing accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth. Integrated Business Development – Develop account strategies that maximize cross-selling and long-term partnership value, identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships, leverage manufacturer and partner relationships to deliver differentiated solutions, drive consultative selling grounded in research, insights, and application. Strategic Consulting & Thought Leadership – Translate workplace, education, and healthcare trends into actionable client strategies, guide clients through holistic, high-performing space solutions, direct conceptual thinking, layouts, and solution storytelling, elevate conversations through research-based insights and innovation. Product Knowledge & Market Insight – Develop a deep understanding of Circadia’s products, services, and integrated solutions, monitor industry trends and translate insights into practical client solutions. Project & Financial Oversight – Maintain executive oversight of project lifecycle from pursuit through completion, ensure alignment across scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations, apply financial and contractual expertise to manage risk and drive profitability, partner with internal teams to allocate resources and ensure seamless execution. Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence – Collaborate across sales, design, and operations teams, mentor and develop team members, contribute to a high-performance culture, contribute to business planning, strategy, and market positioning. Industry Presence & Brand Leadership – Represent Circadia in industry events, trade organizations, and networking opportunities, strengthen brand presence and credibility within the commercial interiors market, build partnerships that expand reach and impact. QUALIFICATIONS Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead team members to ensure high-quality service, retention, and account growth. Market & Industry Awareness: Understanding of market trends and ability to apply insights to client solutions. Product & Solution Expertise: Familiarity with Steelcase and/or commercial furniture products is highly desirable. Consultative Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve client challenges creatively. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences. Strategic Planning: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity development. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Technology: Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or similar business productivity tools.
