MAKE Architecture — Los Angeles, CA Full-Time (Part Time may be considered) MAKE Architecture, a design-driven practice based in Los Angeles, is seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to elevate our brand, strengthen client relationships, and support the firm’s continued growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment, enjoys both strategy and execution, and is excited to shape the public presence of a contemporary architecture studio. About the Role You will lead MAKE’s marketing, PR, outreach, and business development efforts. Working closely with firm leadership, you’ll help position MAKE in the Los Angeles design community, communicate our story, and build relationships with clients, partners, and collaborators. This is a hands-on role with room to grow, offering the opportunity to influence strategy while also driving day-to-day initiatives. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Development Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with MAKE’s goals Maintain and update marketing collateral, project sheets, proposals, and presentations Manage MAKE’s website content, project portfolio, and case studies Coordinate photography, videography, and other visual assets Business Development Research and track potential clients, partners, and project opportunities Support leadership in preparing qualifications packages (SOQs), RFP/RFQ responses, and pitch materials Maintain CRM or lead-tracking systems to support pipeline visibility Assist with networking efforts, industry events, and relationship-building activities Public Relations & Communications Draft press releases, award submissions, and announcements Coordinate with media outlets, industry publications, and local organizations Manage email newsletters and firm-wide communications Social Media & Digital Presence Plan, create, and schedule content across MAKE’s social media platforms Monitor engagement, track analytics, and adjust strategy to improve reach and visibility Develop campaigns that highlight project milestones, firm culture, and thought leadership Community & Outreach Support participation in Los Angeles–based events, panels, and community initiatives Help organize firm-hosted events, open houses, and presentations Qualifications 3-10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development (AEC experience preferred) Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools Familiarity with CRM platforms and social media management tools Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently Interest in architecture, design, and the Los Angeles built environment What MAKE Offers Opportunity to shape the marketing direction of a design-focused LA firm Collaborative, supportive studio environment Exposure to all aspects of architectural practice and project development Competitive compensation and benefit $70,000 - $100,000 commensurate to experience and qualifications Applications Please submit your qualifications package via email to hr@makearch.com
