Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Marketing Assistant Intern, based in Middletown, NY to support day‑to‑day marketing operations, dealer communications, and administrative tasks. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of marketing, including digital marketing, light design, operations, and event support. The marketing assistant intern will play an active role in maintaining marketing materials, supporting dealer relationships, and assisting with the execution of ongoing marketing initiatives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Reports To: Marketing Manager Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Duration: 12 weeks Pay: $17–$21 per hour Key Responsibilities: Dealer & Vendor Support Communicate with dealers and vendors to assist with marketing and operational needs Distribute leads and customer reviews to appropriate dealers Support mass dealer communications using email platforms such as Outlook, Constant Contact, or Mailchimp Marketing Materials & Documentation Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining pricing sheets and marketing documentation Support copywriting and copyediting efforts for marketing collateral Print, assemble, and organize physical marketing materials as needed Digital Marketing & Website Support Assist with building and maintaining microsites and lead‑generation automations using tools such as Constant Contact, WordPress, and StorePoint Make basic updates to company websites as needed Support light social media monitoring and engagement Creative & Production Tasks Assist with graphic design projects such as vectorizing logos, creating flyers, and formatting labels Help build and assemble physical marketing tools, including fabric books, PRGs, and hardware color chip sets Administrative & Operational Support Collect and organize marketing expenses and receipts across platforms (Google, Shopify, Meta, LiveChat, etc.) Assist with ordering printed materials and private‑labeled items Support planning and coordination of dealer conferences and marketing events, when applicable Qualifications & Skills Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar) Basic experience with website platforms such as WordPress or Shopify (HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Comfortable working with both digital platforms and hands‑on, physical tasks Interest in marketing automation, systems, or AI tools is a plus E‑commerce experience or exposure to platforms like Shopify is a plus Preferred Attributes Eager to learn with a strong sense of initiative Collaborative, with the ability to work across departments Interest in marketing operations, process improvement, and behind‑the‑scenes execution Why This Internship?
