Experiential Marketing Internship - Entry Level We’re hiring! Do you have a passion for Special Events? Campbell Marketing & Communications is a dynamic and innovative marketing agency specializing in public relations, communications, social media, marketing, and event management. We pride ourselves on our strategic thinking, creativity, and commitment to excellence. Currently, we are seeking an Experiential Marketing Intern to join our dedicated team. General Summary An Experiential Marketing Intern performs fundamental event marketing and communication tasks that contribute to both the success of the client and of Campbell Marketing and Communications. This self-driven individual is eager to learn and develop a skill set to benefit both themselves and the company. This is an educational opportunity for college seniors or recent college graduates to join us for short-term or seasonal help, hired to supplement staff by performing administrative tasks in support of staff, client activities, and projects. Projects could include automotive and motor sports experiential activations and Detroit based community events. The ideal candidate is curious about the industry, willing to accept challenges, and possesses a welcoming personality and a forward-thinking mindset. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Works with staff on client programs as trainee. With supervision, provides in-office support services for staff, client activities, and projects. With supervision, coordinates meetings, agendas, and attends client planning sessions. With supervision, works off-site on experiential marketing activations. Completes other duties as assigned. Adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and all other company policies, procedures, and processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of business practices, marketing or communications discipline normally acquired through three years of college, or its equivalent. Demonstrates business writing and communication skills. Works well in a team environment. Demonstrates an ability to set priorities and manage deadlines. Ability to utilize personal strengths and weaknesses to advance competency and grow professionally. Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills. Basic knowledge of and demonstrated desire to expand skills in marketing and promotion, including interactive marketing, and experiential marketing. Demonstrated proficiency in any of these areas. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (preferred) or senior level college student. Experience: At least one year of relevant professional experience (preferred). Work Environment: Will require travel and/or weekend and evening hours. May also require some physical activities such as standing and/or walking outdoors for extended periods of time. Compensation: $20.00 hourly. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
