Marketing & Promotions Coordinator As Marketing & Promotions Coordinator, you'll support Pro Photo Supply's day-to-day marketing efforts, helping promote events, classes, products, and store initiatives both online and around town.This role focuses on social media, local advertising, and in-store promotion.You'll help maintain a consistent presence across social platforms, distribute promotional materials locally, and support store events with clear, timely communication.You'll work closely with the Events Manager and the Business Operations Manager to ensure promotions align with what's happening in the company.General Responsibilities Support social media and promotional campaigns Promote store initiatives both online and through local outreach Assist with in-store marketing and signage Maintain consistent, on-brand messaging across platforms Track basic engagement metrics and promotional performance Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Digital Support Create and schedule social media posts Monitor engagement and respond appropriately Assist with boosted posts and basic paid social execution Support email promotions with content updates and scheduling Coordinate with external digital advertising partners as needed Local & Physical Promotion Design and distribute flyers and posters Maintain in-store signage and promotional displays Distribute materials to nearby businesses and community spaces Support grassroots promotion for events and classes Creative & Content Support Write captions and short promotional copy Capture photo and video content for social media Create simple graphics and promotional materials Ensure messaging aligns with store priorities and events Organization & Reporting Track engagement metrics and attendance numbers Maintain organized records of campaigns and promotions Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience managing social media accounts Comfortable creating and participating in short-form video and social media content.Familiarity with basic paid promotion tools Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable balancing desk work with hands-on, in-person promotion Interest in photography or creative communities is a plus Supervision Reports to the Business Operations Manager and works closely with the Events Manager.Work is performed independently in accordance with company policies.The manager is available to consult on problems and policy decisions.Work is reviewed for the quantity and quality of work provided to the company.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Experience:Social media marketing:2 years (Preferred) Location:Portland, OR 97209 (Required) Work Location:In person.
