Marketing & Social Media Specialist (Part-Time)

Sidewalk Steak is bringing the heat of the Taiwan Night Market to Blaine! We are looking for a creative, savvy Marketing Specialist to build our digital presence from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for capturing the energy of our sizzling plates and the vibrant culture of Asia Village to turn scrollers into hungry customers. What You’ll Do Content Creation: Visit the restaurant weekly to capture high-quality photos and videos (Reels/TikToks) of our sizzling hot plates, signature sauces, and behind-the-scenes prep. Social Media Management: Manage our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts—posting regularly and engaging with the Blaine and Twin Cities food community. Community Growth: Monitor and respond to customer reviews (Yelp/Google) and social media comments to build a loyal fan base. Online Marketing: Assist with basic email marketing or SMS campaigns to announce grand opening events, new menu items, and "Asia Village" collaborations. Feedback Loop: Work with our Founding Team to relay customer feedback and trends you see online to help us improve our menu and service. Who You Are A Visual Storyteller: You know how to make food look incredible on camera. You understand lighting, "the drip," and "the sizzle." Socially Savvy: You live on TikTok and Instagram and know which trending audios and hashtags will get us in front of the local Blaine/Twin Cities audience. Self-Starter: You don’t need a script. You see a cool moment in the kitchen and you capture it. Cultural Connector: You have an appreciation for Asian food culture and know how to tell our story authentically.
