Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our construction team.In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using various masonry techniques and materials.Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, aesthetically pleasing buildings and landscapes.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to outdoor hardscape installations, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help us deliver high-quality results that stand the test of time.Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements and specifications.Mix, pour, and spread concrete with precision, ensuring proper finishing for walls, floors, and other structures.Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete forms and ensure structural integrity.Build and install various masonry elements such as brick, stone, block, stucco, and tile for both interior and exterior applications.Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites.Perform concrete forming tasks including framing, shaping, and setting forms for pours.Execute restoration projects by repairing existing masonry structures with skillful craftsmanship.Apply finishing techniques like plastering, caulking, trimming carpentry, and concrete polishing to achieve a polished look.Install metal stud framing or other supporting structures as needed for renovation or new construction projects.Read construction schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of all masonry work while adhering to safety standards.Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on masonry or related trades such as carpentry or renovation projects.Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess material needs and project timelines.Hands-on experience with concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces.Knowledge of rebar installation methods for reinforced concrete structures.Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, mixers, and heavy equipment safely.Skilled in blueprint reading to interpret technical drawings accurately for complex projects.Experience with stucco application, tile laying, roofing support tasks, welding or metal framing is a plus but not mandatory.Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure working environment.Join us in building lasting structures that combine strength with aesthetic appeal!
