Massage Therapist

Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and patient feedback. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding their progress, treatment options, and pain management strategies. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Document each session accurately in accordance with medical terminology and professional standards. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on attentive listening and compassionate care. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify specific areas of tension or discomfort. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage modalities. Knowledge of pain management strategies to help clients reduce discomfort effectively. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
