Job OverviewEmbark on a dynamic journey as a Master Gunsmith, where craftsmanship meets precision and innovation.In this vital role, you will lead the maintaining, repair, customization, and restoration of firearms with exceptional skill and meticulous attention to detail.Your expertise will ensure each firearm meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.As a master craftsman, you will also mentor junior gunsmiths, uphold quality control protocols, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our firearm services.This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mastery in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment dedicated to excellence.Duties Perform complex firearm repairs, modifications, and restorations with precision and care.Customize firearms according to client specifications, including polishing, and fitting components.Conduct thorough inspections to ensure firearms meet safety standards and functional requirements.Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced tools and techniques; implement effective solutions swiftly.Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and procedures followed.Mentor and train junior gunsmiths on best practices, safety protocols, and craftsmanship techniques.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations for upgrades or repairs.Experience Proven experience as a gunsmith with a strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship in firearm repair and customization.Extensive knowledge of firearm mechanisms, calibers, parts, and safety regulations across various firearm types.Skilled in using specialized tools such as lathes, grinders, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics as well as technical precision.Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications accurately.Certification from recognized gunsmithing programs or associations is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is essential.Join us in elevating firearm craftsmanship through dedication and expert skill!
