Master's Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and those requiring grief counseling. This role involves providing therapeutic support in various settings, including inpatient facilities and clinics. The Therapist will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, implementing crisis management strategies, and engaging in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices. ** Must have on transcript or certification of Functional Behavioral Assessment. Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with diverse needs, including autism and developmental disabilities. Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Offer grief counseling services to individuals coping with loss and trauma. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure comprehensive care. Engage in crisis management when necessary, providing immediate support to clients in distress. Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic interventions and outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities is essential. Familiarity with grief counseling techniques is highly desirable. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations within clinical or hospital settings is preferred. Background in crisis management strategies is beneficial for this role. Previous involvement in clinical research projects will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds are crucial for success in this position.
