Summary Material Handler 1 As the largest machine tool builder in the western world, we need world-class talent in all of our departments. Come join us at our new 2.4 million square foot factory in Henderson, NV. The Material Handler 1 moves products throughout the Haas manufacturing facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performing transactions within SAP (order completions, transfers, etc.). Maintaining all assigned areas in a clean and organized manner. Verification of part numbers, utilizing SAP dispatch lists and other SAP information. Proper packaging of parts. Safe and efficient movement of all products. Verifying material counts. Maintaining component inventory between established minimums and maximums. Coordinating with shop personnel regarding materials needs. Transfer of non-conforming materials to the proper locations. Supplying part handling materials (boxes, pallets, protective paper, etc.) to shop locations. Fills-out necessary paperwork/documentation. Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
