Material Handler/Delivery Driver

Metal Shop Laborer / Material Handler Position Overview:We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Metal Shop Laborer to support daily operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.The ideal candidate will have experience operating shop equipment, handling materials safely, and making local deliveries.This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic.Key Responsibilities:Operate a hydraulic saw to cut metal materials to specified measurements Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials Perform material handling duties, including staging and organizing inventory Package finished products for shipment according to company standards Prepare outgoing orders and verify accuracy Make local deliveries as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience operating a forklift (certification preferred) Experience with hydraulic saw operation or similar cutting equipment Strong material handling and packaging experience Ability to lift heavy materials (50lbs) Valid Driver's License (required) with clean driving record Ability to read a tape measure accurately Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a metal shop or fabrication environment Basic mechanical aptitude Knowledge of metal types and sizes Work Environment:Industrial shop setting Exposure to loud noise, dust, and heavy equipment Full-time position with potential overtime Job Types:Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay:From $20.00 per hour Benefits:Health insurance Experience:Forklift:1 year (Required) metal shop:1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location:In person.
