Material Handler (Logistics & Order Entry Specialist) Location:Fitchburg, MAJob Type:Full-time (On-site) Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Logistics and Order Entry Specialist to support warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment.This role involves receiving and inspecting shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing orders, and ensuring products are prepared and shipped correctly.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders Inspect products for quantity, condition, and accuracy Perform first article inspections when required Inventory Management Store materials in designated warehouse locations Label and organize inventory to maintain accurate records Maintain inventory data within the ERP system Order Picking & Packing Pick items from inventory based on customer orders Accurately identify, package, and prepare products for shipment Loading & Material Handling Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks Move materials safely throughout the warehouse Inventory Control Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Maintain accurate inventory levels Data Entry & Documentation Record receiving dates, inventory locations, and quantities in ERP systems Maintain accurate records for inventory and testing data Quality Control Identify and report product nonconformances Conduct product integrity testing when required Qualifications Required Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with strong time management Technical Skills Experience with ERP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Basic computer and data entry skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy objects Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive tasks Equipment Experience Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred Forklift certification a plus Education & Experience Preferred:Associate's degree or higher 3years customer service or sales experience 3years material handling or warehouse experience 3years ERP system experience Work Location Fitchburg, MA 01420This is an in-person position and not remote.Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.Pay:$24.43 - $29.43 per hour Work Location:In person.
