Trayer Engineering is a hiring a Temp-to-hire Material Handler (Inventory and pulling of materials/parts).It is minimum 40 hours per week at our Livermore, CA location.The material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.This role must have material handler experience.There will be no Shipping/Receiving duties. Material Handler Job Duties: Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on job orders. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Prepares inventory for shipment to sub-contractors by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas. Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory accuracy. Perform and report daily cycle counts. Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines. Qualifications for Material Handler High school diploma or equivalent. 1 -2 years of experience working in material handling and logistics organization. Must be able to work well in a team. Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials. Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
