About the Role: As a CBRE Material Handler Supervisor, you will oversee ateam of 6+ employees, responsible for material handling functions supporting a24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is an overnight shift with 2,2,3 shift schedule (2 dayson, 2 days off and 3 days rotation of every other weekend) and it’s fullyonsite in Concord, NC. What You’ll Do: Working supervisor leading a team of Material handlers to complete daily activities and ensure safe and effective delivery of services. Heavy interaction with client warehouse team to plan, coordinate, schedule, to meet production goals. Understand and utilize GMP processes and procedures. Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. Hire and train material handlers. Coach and Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Safety Maintain and promote a Safety performance culture that is best in class , Use appropriate PPE. Maintain a clean and hazard free work area. Understand the operation, inspection, and daily maintenance of powered Industrial trucks. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related Supervisory experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered. Must hold 5+ years of forklift and leadership experience. Must hold valid & active drivers license. Demonstrated Ability to manage team on multiple shifts. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department Excellent client relationship skills. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business. Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities. knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
