Materials Testing Technician

WHS is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Materials Testing Technician to join our Lander team.This role involves performing field and/or laboratory testing on construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of construction projects, and taking pride in precision and accuracy, this is a strong opportunity for long-term growth.What You'll Do Perform field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials Conduct compaction tests, concrete sampling, and related procedures Collect and document samples accurately Prepare clear and timely test reports Communicate results to Project Managers and contractors Maintain and calibrate testing equipment Follow safety protocols at all times What We're Looking For No previous experience REQUIRED Experience in construction or materials testing preferred Certifications such as ACI, WYDOT, or WAQTC preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Valid driver's license Reliable and dependable work ethic What Success Looks Like Accurate and repeatable test results Timely report submission Safe jobsite performance Professional interaction with contractors and clients Reliable attendance and strong teamwork Why Join WHS?
