Carawell Counseling is a private group practice in South Charlotte, NC, dedicated to supporting women’s mental health and wellbeing across every season of life. We offer both in-person services in the Charlotte area and telehealth services throughout North and South Carolina. Our practice specializes in caring for women through the unique challenges and transitions they face—whether that’s navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, grief, relationships, parenting, caregiving, co-dependency, academic or career pressures, or the profound journey of motherhood. We are especially seeking a clinician with an interest or background in perinatal and postpartum mental health who is passionate about walking alongside women during these critical life phases. We are a predominately insurance-based practice, with a mix of self-pay and out-of-network clients, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of professional care and clinical expertise. This position is ideal for a clinician who: Is looking for a full caseload of clients with the average of at least 24 sessions per week Is driven to grow as a clinician but also values work/life balance Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and enjoys contributing to a supportive group practice. Would like to begin in the private practice environment by joining an existing and growing practice Is interested in and appreciates the unique perspectives of women at every phase of life. Believes in the importance of the mind/body/spirit connection in promoting healing and wellbeing. Approaches clients and colleagues with authenticity, integrity, and compassion. Is eager to invest in their own growth and learning with the leadership of a dedicated owner with over 30 years of clinical experience This position is not the right fit for someone who already has or is planning to start their own private practice within the next two years. POSITION(S) AVAILABLE: Independent Contracted Psychotherapist interested in working with anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, parenting, codependence, life transition issues, relationship issues and overall mood disorders. Key Qualifications Include Education Requirements: Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree ins Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling or related field. Licensure Requirements: Full NC clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD) Professional Experience: 2 years post graduate experience with common issues such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relational issues. Ideal candidate would have experience with highly sensitive clients. Professional Requirements: Malpractice Insurance- $1,000,000/$3,000,000, Credentialed with major insurance companies (or eligible to be credentialed with 2 years post graduate experience).
