About Ashley Ravid Group Ashley Ravid Group is a specialized educational therapy practice dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning profiles. We provide individualized, evidence-based instruction to help students build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations. Our work focuses on supporting learners with dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia, and related learning differences through targeted, research-backed approaches. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Math Specialist to provide individualized, one-on-one instruction on campus in Rancho Sante Fe as well as in our Sorrento Valley office. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with students with math challenges and collaborating closely with families and school teams. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 individualized instruction tailored to each student’s learning profile Experience in working with students with dyscalculia Develop and implement personalized learning goals and intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure alignment across settings Collect data, track progress, and monitor student growth regularly Adjust instruction based on progress monitoring and student needs Maintain clear and consistent session notes and documentation Build strong, supportive relationships that foster student confidence and engagement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field preferred) Understanding of how to make math make sense for students Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes and/or schools Preferred Qualities Warm, patient, and relationship-driven Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially with data collection and progress monitoring Passionate about helping students grow both academically and emotionally Proactive and collaborative mindset What We Offer Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly compensation Supportive, collaborative team environment Meaningful, impactful work with students and families Job Type: Part-time Pay: $65.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
