Position: In-Person Classroom Instructor / Academic Tutor Location: Plano (75093) Start Date: Flexible, with option to start right away Positions Available for Following Subjects : SAT Math ACT Math/Science AP Calculus AB/BC AP Physics I/II/C AP/College-Level Chemistry AP Biology AP Computer Science (JAVA, Python) Responsibilities: Teach students 1:1 and/or small classes (2-15 students) with our curricula. Monitor academic progress for students and articulate progress to parents. Collaborate with staff and directors to meet student goals. Assist in developing curricula and assessments as needed. Attend periodic meetings for professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Graduate degree preferred (currently junior or senior in college or in graduate program is okay). Mastery or strong proficiency in the subject wishing to teach is required. Prior teaching/tutoring experience in the subject you wish to teach preferred. Test Prep (SAT/ACT/AP/IB) teaching or test grading experience is a bonus. Must love teaching teenagers and children. Great interpersonal skills and classroom/student management skills. Recent college graduates, graduate students, and teachers are welcome! Salary & Benefits: Both part-time and full time available with flexible hours and schedules.
