Overview Arecibo Bilingual Academy is seeking a motivated and fully bilingual teacher to join our academic team. The candidate must be able to teach in a structured, engaging, and professional classroom environment, while supporting student growth, discipline, and academic excellence. The ideal candidate should be responsible, organized, passionate about education, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective lessons according to grade level and subject area. Teach assigned subjects in English and/or Spanish as required by the school. Maintain a structured, respectful, and positive classroom environment. Monitor student progress and provide academic support when needed. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and classroom activities. Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school administration. Promote discipline, leadership, respect, and academic excellence. Participate in meetings, training, and school-related activities. Follow school policies, procedures, and academic expectations. Classroom Experience Previous teaching or classroom experience required. Experience managing a classroom and working with elementary and/or middle school students. Ability to maintain order, structure, and discipline in the classroom. Experience preparing lessons, giving instructions, and evaluating student progress. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to work with students of different academic levels and learning needs. Experience in a bilingual school setting is preferred, but not required. Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month Benefits Health insurance Work Location: In person
