Math Teacher

Job Description Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange, has an opening for a Math Teacher with AP and College Prep Level experience, starting on August 3, 2026. The ideal candidate must demonstrate current knowledge of the subject area and be able to engage students using a wide variety of teaching strategies. The candidate should be highly skilled at planning, organizing, and developing curriculum to meet all students’ needs and engage students in their overall development. Should have a relentless focus on ensuring all students successfully meet learning targets (i.e. experience incorporating flexible learning strategies). Candidate must have the ability to collaborate with colleagues in the Math department and be enthusiastic about ongoing professional learning and development. Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love. Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, along with a California Single Subject Teaching Credential or a Master’s Degree. Experience: Previous high school teaching preferred with the ability to teach across multiple levels from foundational to advanced. Certifications: CPR certification required.
