Workshop and Experience Delivery JOB TITLE:MEA Experience Facilitator(Contract Position) DEPARTMENT:Programming and Facilitation REPORTS TO:Chief Content Officer & Santa Fe Program Director LOCATION:Onsite - Santa Fe COMPANY OVERVIEW MEA, named by The New York Times as the world's first midlife wisdom school, offers 5-day workshops where participants, together with a team of MEA facilitators, explore topics related to transitions, finding purpose, and owning wisdom, under the principle that wisdom is shared, not taught.Participants spend their time during the workshop in a combination of classroom and experiential modules, in the comfort of upscale accommodations one would expect from a luxury boutique hotel.JOB SUMMARY MEA Experience Facilitators (EFs) support the delivery of world-class, multi-day workshops at MEA.This role is focused on guiding meaningful experiential activities, fostering community among participants, ensuring clarity and safety, and managing logistics in coordination with the operations team.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in group facilitation, leadership experience, mindful facilitation skills, a passion for hospitality, and a knack for experience design.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:Workshop and Experience Delivery Lead experiential sessions, activities, and ritual elements as part of the MEA curriculum (e.g., hikes, fire ceremonies, graduation).Serve as a co-facilitator and space holder during sessions.Logistics and Coordination Act as the lead wrangler and time keep to keep the daily schedule on track.Provide a clear outline and direction of the day's activities and any optional opportunities.Move participants in a timely manner to and from experiences and gently remind them of the schedule.Coordinate with the program team on agendas, staffing, and operational needs.Communicate with Operations staff regarding late participants or schedule changes.Excellent time management and proactive approach required.Guest Safety and Hospitality Prioritize the health, well-being, and safety of all guests.Embody generous and friendly hospitality, addressing guest needs promptly and communicating requests to the MEA Team in a timely manner.Maintain a supportive presence by demonstrating non-judgement and compassion.Keep the focus on the guest and their growth experience (It's not about us.).Support access, safety, and inclusivity, including group members of diverse abilities.Team Mindset Remain discerning, proactive, and flexible, ready to swerve and serve with a positive attitude and creative problem solving.Bring a fun, enthusiastic, and graceful approach to managing the schedule.Participate in alumni events and community engagement initiatives.REQUIREMENTS Required Experience & Skills Previous experience in group facilitation.Strong emotional intelligence and proven ability to manage challenging guest and group dynamics with humility and care.Comfort with both classroom facilitation and physical outdoor activities.Background working effectively with diverse populations (economic, culture, race, professional, etc.).Collaborative and service-oriented mindset.Required Certifications & Training CPR certification.Familiarity with campus safety protocols Preferred Live in Santa Fe area Hospitality or retreat experience strongly preferred.Spanish language skills are a plus.Flexibility:This is a contract position requiring a flexible schedule and ability to work approximately two 3 or 4 day workshops per month.Job Type:Full-time Work Location:In person.
