Meat Department Lead (Hourly Position) Location:Natick, MA Job Type:Full-time, Hourly Department:Meat Department About Us T Market is a large Asian supermarket located in the Natick Mall.We are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service.We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Meat Department Supervisor/Lead to join our team.This role focuses primarily on technical skills and hands-on work, with minimal administrative management required.Position Summary The Meat Department Lead will serve as the technical lead of the department, responsible for meat cutting, processing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product quality.You will help guide team members on daily tasks but will not be responsible for heavy managerial duties.This position is ideal for someone who:Has strong meat-cutting skills Enjoys hands-on work Wants a stable, long-term role Prefers limited administrative responsibilities Key Responsibilities Perform meat cutting, trimming, deboning, portioning, and other technical tasks Package, weigh, label, and merchandise products according to company standards Maintain product freshness, quality, and proper rotation Assist with training team members on basic operational procedures Support inventory tasks, including receiving, stocking, and minimizing shrink Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment Provide friendly and professional customer service Assist with daily operations when the department manager is not present Qualifications 2years of meat cutting or meat department experience (supermarket or butcher shop preferred) Strong technical skills in meat cutting and product handling Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to lift and move products and stand for extended periods Basic communication skills and willingness to support team members Compensation:Salary is based on ability and experience.Store benefits and career growth opportunities within the T Market family.Location Requirements Must be able to commute to Natick, MA 01760 To apply, please email your resume to hr@tmarketus.com.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Shift availability:Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute:Natick, MA 01760 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Natick, MA 01760:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
