OverviewJoin our dynamic food production team as a Meat Packer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality meat products are efficiently packaged and ready for distribution.This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to food safety, sanitation, and precision.As a Meat Packer, you will be integral to maintaining the integrity of our food processing operations while adhering to strict safety standards and industry regulations.Duties Ensure all meat products are properly labeled, weighed, and packed securely for shipment Package cuts of meat according to customers request Into vacuum bags Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, following OSHA and HACCP guidelines to uphold food safety standards Inspect meat cuts for quality, freshness, and compliance with safety protocols Assist in meat cutting and trimming processes as needed, utilizing knife skills and mechanical knowledge Follow all safety procedures related to food processing plant operations and equipment handling Document production data accurately and report any issues or deviations promptly Skills Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and HACCP food safety standards Experience with sanitation procedures in a food processing environment Strong understanding of meat cutting techniques and knife skills Familiarity with manufacturing processes and packaging operations in the food industry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production or meat processing plant Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety compliance Embark on a rewarding career where your skills contribute directly to delivering fresh, safe, and high-quality meat products.We value safety, efficiency, and dedication--if you're passionate about the food industry and eager to grow your expertise, we want to hear from you!
