Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Meat Production Specialist to join our food processing plant.The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of meat products.This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on food safety, sanitation, and precision meat cutting.The Meat Production Specialist will be responsible for adhering to industry standards and safety regulations while maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process.Responsibilities Operate meat processing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.Perform meat cutting, trimming, and portioning with precision using knife skills and mechanical knowledge.Follow HACCP protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with OSHA standards.Assist in packaging finished products according to company specifications.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety regulations.Monitor product quality throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any deviations.Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food processing and manufacturing efficiency.Qualifications Prior experience in food processing, meat cutting, or manufacturing preferred.Knowledge of HACCP, OSHA standards, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with processing equipment are advantageous.Strong knife skills and experience working in a food industry environment are highly desirable.Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a team setting within a fast-paced production environment.Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks as required.This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in meat production operations.Pay:$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
